Facebook, Instagram, Twitter slap sanctions on Donald Trump
Major social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter have threatened a sanction on the account of the outgoing President of the United States of America, President Donald Trump.
These sanctions follow a series of tweets and posts seeking to encourage Trump supporters to perpetrate violence after consistently rejecting the outcome of the 2020 Presidential results which went in favor of Joe Biden.
These inappropraite tweets and posts as classified by the social media giants led to the Insurrection at the US capitol.

Trump’s consistency in condonning shameful acts exhibited by his suporters to disrupt the transition process to pave way for Joe Biden’s swearing in was much worrying and disturbing.

This, the social media giants claimed it infringes on their user policies and are immediately imposing sanctions on Trump’s social accounts.
In effect, some of Trump’s tweets which were found to be unlawful have been deleted by twitter.
Twitter safety, an account set up by the Twitter company to scrutinize tweets and posts of users which are sensed to be infringing on other people’s rights have vowed to permanently delete three tweets of Donald Trump which it thinks is inappropriate and are violating their policies.

Also, Ceo of facebook and Instagram said in a post on facebook that:
“The shocking events of the last 24 hours clearly demonstrate that President Donald Trump intends to use his remaining time in office to undermine the peaceful and lawful transition of power to his elected successor, Joe Biden.
The newly elected president of the United states, Joe Biden in a tweet calmly called on Trump to call his angry supporters to order to create a conducive atmosphere for the Transistion process to continue.
