Hiphop/Hiplife artiste and 2013 MTN hitmaker winner,Koo Ntakra exchanges words with producer “wei ye Oteng” on zylofon fm(102.1).
The MTN Hitmaker winner, Koo Ntakra registered his displeasure about comments and accusations laid on him not too long ago on air when owner of drum line studio and producer “wei ye oteng” calls him ungrateful.
According to the producer of Drum line studio, Koo Ntakra was given to him By MTN to manage and produce during the MTN hitmaker days.
He managed and produced Koo Ntakra till his glorious victory at the 2013 MTN hitmaker challenge which he is very boastful and excited of.
The producer went on to disclose that ever since Koo Ntakra won the 2013 MTN hitmaker challenge he has never called to thank him and not even a facebook post to say thanks or a common text message. He also went ahead to say that he has kept quite all this while just to see if Koo Ntakra will realize his mistakes and recognize him as the man behind his success at the MTN hitmaker challenge.
This did not end there when Koo Ntakra was contacted on phone on zylofon fm to justify his inclusions and the allegations made against him by producer “wei ye Oteng”.
Koo Ntakra responded very nicely by addressing the pundits in the studio by some proverbial greetings as he does in his lyrics.
He started by saying and explaining very bitterly“Oteng didn’t even call to congratulate me when I won the competition. I also didn’t call Oteng because of the pains he made me go through whiles recording in his studio as an upcoming hitmaker. He went ahead saying, Oteng hated me to the extend that he didn’t allow me to even drink water in the studio to smoothing my throat whiles recording. I will at times sit at the back of the studio waiting for Oteng to record but he will never show up and tell me later he is busy. And the most dangerous and disheartening part is when it was time for the finals at the MTN hitmaker, Oteng recorded a song for me and I was told by the hitmaker team to extend the duration to 3minutes so I can sell after the competition and so I went back to see hm to work on it and he tells me he is busy and cannot attend to me.
That would have ended my journey in the competition but I dint give up and went to a different studio called Hyperlyrics to master and extend the song and I won the competition hands down by God’s Grace.
But I leave everything to God and I apologize for all the wrongs I have done, I apologize to Oteng and all Ghanaians. I will even visit Oteng’s studio next week to show my reconciliation with him, he said.
