Former President of Ghana,John Agyekum Kufuor has tasked Rapper and song writer Okyeame Kwame to raise funds in support of his JAK foundation project on leadership which is about to take effect very soon.
Chief Executive Officer(C.E.O)of John Agyekum Kufuor foundation (JAK), Professor Baffuor Agyeman Duah disclosed this on a phone interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz Fm on his morning show.The C.E.O said Okyeame Kwame among few other celebrities has been chosen by the foundation and the former president to embark on a fund raising project to help set up “The Kufuor Center for leadership and governance “.
The Kufour Center for leadership and governance would be set up on the University of Ghana campus as a school of center for leadership and governance.This will help churn out good and exceptional leaders who will change the face of Ghana and Africa.
For sometime now the leadership of Africa has been questioned severally but no answers have been provided.The resources of Africa is at stake and it needs urgent attention as we speak.
Okyeame Kwame was appointed by the Jak foundation to help raise 1million Ghana cedis as part of the 80million Ghana cedis needed to set up the leadership school. This 1 million cedis Okyeame Kwame said would be raised through arts and culture where he would be selling artistic works to people for reasonable amount. He also said he would be organising a concert at the Accra Sports staduim alongside some music legends like Kojo Antwi,Daddy Lumba and many others in the country which will attract sponsors from all to support and garner some funds.
He concluded by saying, Everything i touch is miracle and i’m going to accomplish this mission successfully just as i’m doing with my ongoing Hepatitis B project,okyeame Kwame.
