GPL begins this weekend after court rulling

The much-anticipated and awaited 2017/18 Ghana Premier league is expected to start this weekend as per the rulling of the court.

The league had been prevented from starting on March 3 after a second injunction application was filed by Accra Great Olympics.

However, following a court ruling dismissing the injunction by the Accra-based club, the path is cleared for new campaign to commence.

And barring any unforeseen circumstance, clubs will be involved in competitive games for the first time in four months.

Week One Fixtures

Liberty Professionals v Aduana Stars – To be postponed due to Aduana’s involvement in CAF Champions league.

WAFA v Asante Kotoko

Eleven Wonders v Hearts of Oak

Inter Allies v Bechem United

AshantiGold v WA All Stars

Ebusua Dwarfs v Berekum Chelsea

Dreams FC v Elmina Sharks

Medeama v Karela United
