Highlife artiste, Kumi Guitar says government ought to be blamed for customers locked up funds in Menzgold.
According to him, the state financial institutions could have first paid menzgold customers even before stepping in to shut the company.
In an interview on Asempa FM’s weekend entertainment show dubbed Tête-à-Tête, Kumi Guitar said the government could have also suggested strategies to assist Nana Appiah Mensah(Nam1) fix his flaws.
“I don’t think he (Nana Appiah Mensah) is the problem,” he told Da Don, host of the show.
He stressed that every blame should be put at the doorstep of the state financial institutions responsible for the closure of Menzgold.
With the issue still in court, the ‘betweener’ hitmaker says he does not know when it will be resolved.
Thousands of customers have had their monies locked up in Menzgold for close to four years without proper government intervention.
