Award-winning rapper, Sarkodie, has come under a barrage of attacks on social media following the news that Shatta Wale’s Reign album, launched a little under two weeks ago, has made it onto Billboard World Album Chart.
Shatta Wale, on Tuesday, had taken to social media to celebrate his album reaching number six on the charts. Around this same time, Sarkodie also took to Twitter to share the iTunes link to his Highest album which was released about a year ago.

It is no secret that Sarkodie and Shatta Wale are no longer friends, at least not publicly.
This follows Sarkodie’s release of his ‘My Advice’ diss song against Shatta Wale in which he gave loads of insults to Shatta who had previously attacked him on several platforms.
But while Sarkodie did not mention anybody’s name in the tweet, his post has incurred the wrath of some social media users who think the rapper was subtly diminishing the relevance of Shatta Wale’s achievement.
Many who took offense to Sarkodie’s post reminded him of some of the lines he used to attack Shatta Wale. Others simply choose of mock him. @oneImusic picked Sarkodie’s diss on Shatta Wale being insecure.
Now who is insecure… wagyemi kakra ey3a stay focused.. now u go tweet abt yah album.. billboard gate is closed
