Popular personality and politician Kwame A-plus has wadded into the ongoing Shatta-Stone Vgma rising matters.
News broke out recently of Vodafone Ghana Music awards lifting the long-pressed ban on the Bhim president and the SM boss for both heavy-weight acts to be reinstated into the awards scheme.
This announcement made by the VGMA board trapped mixed reactions from fans and other entertainment stakeholders.
Kwame A-plus, when asked to share his thoughts on the recent happenings involving VGMA and the two dancehall titans on United showbiz hosted by Nana Ama Mcbrown, expressed the VGMA hasn’t been fair to Shatta and Stonebowy; and that, it will be necessary for VGMA to have a business-centred conversation with the two acts as he strongly believes the two heavyweight artistes pull in great revenue for the award scheme.
In a quick response to the recent VGMA ban-lift without the consent of the two acts which also triggered a reaction from Stonebwoy, A-plus added that Shatta wale and Stonebwoy are bigger than VGMA and must be treated with respect.
