One of the popular rappers in the early 2000s, Jay Dee, who is known for his hit single ‘Alampan’ is allegedly broke and selling skipping rope to survive.
These rumours came up when photos of the rapper selling skipping rope surfaced on social media.
Ghanaians, upon citing the ‘hustling’ photos of Jay Dee, lamented bitterly about how a musician, who was on top of the game in the early 2000s, could go from grace to grass.
However, Jay Dee has come up in a recent interview to rubbish the allegation insisting there is no way he will take up inferior jobs as means of survival.
The ‘Alampan’ hitmaker further stated that he does not need to stress over what to eat on a daily basis claiming he comes from a rich background.
Responding to the viral videos and photos of him selling skipping rope, Jay Dee says he was only assisting his sister run her shop.
