Highlife Artiste KiDi has highlighted and addressed rumour he, Kuami Eugene and Mzvee are not in good terms, registered his displeasure on the ongoing contract exchange between Mzvee and Lynx Entertainment.
MzVee’s absence from the record label left fans speculating as fans feel the connection between the record label mates was no longer in existence.
The news went viral when the two guys did not wish MzVee a happy birthday on social media in June.
“We are friends and we talk like we usually do. MzVee has always and will always be a sister to me,” he told Lexis Bill on Drive Time on Joy FM.
He, however, said he has no idea why MzVee opted out of Lynx Entertainment.
“I don’t know the details of her exit but it is actually sad to hear that she is not there with us anymore. It’s really sad,” he stated.
Kidi explained, although noticed a few things amiss when MzVee was not coming into the studio, he did not want to ask questions till the parties involved came out to tell the rest of the team what was going on.
“Every artiste had their personal discussions with the team, I don’t know what the management discussed with her. It’s actually sad for me right now,” the ‘Cinderella’ singer added.
KiDi added that MzVee has a lot of plans in the pipeline and wishes her the best.
“Lots of people have left their labels and have gone down but she is an amazing artiste, hands down, and I am waiting to see her grow to the much bigger stages than before.”
