Kofi Mole released ‘Don’t be late’ earlier this year and it’s almost on everyone’s playlist, the song is just a heart of a neck.

Not until he opened up about this, who would have thought it was because of what happened in his life sometime back that had gracefully accounted for his success now.

Ghanaian hip-hop rapper and singer has hinted his former girlfriend was the inspiration behind ‘don’t be late’, a song that immediately blew up at its release.

Coming to Accra and how his former girlfriend inspired his hit song ‘Don’t be late

The ‘Aporsor gangster’ says he finished high school in 2011 in Kumasi and proceeded to Dansoman, Accra to live with his half-brother, who he referred to as sea-blue and that was where the journey really began.

According to him, Although he broke up with his girlfriend due to some financial challenges he was seriously going through back in the day, he still misses his girlfriend – Fond memories of himself and his former girlfriend keep hunting him as they really had a good time dating and couldn’t get it off his mind.

Kofi had no option than to eagerly express his feelings in a song, and that song is what everyone is jamming to at the moment, ‘don’t be late’.
