Ghanaian songstress, Bertha Bridget Kankam, known in showbiz as Yaa Yaa, laments over the lack of attention for creatives in the country.
Yaa Yaa was worried about why good talents in the country are not getting the needed attention.
She wondered if hard work is sometimes worth it.
“What should we do as creatives to get the attention that we deserve?” she questioned.
Yaa Yaa clarified that she is not only speaking for herself because there are so many fine talents in the country that need attention and support.
After mentioning some of these talents, Adoma supported her statement.
“My heart hurts but we go dey alright. Please don’t let it stifle you. You don’t know what seeing art like this does for some of us. You are seen,” she commented.
This follows her performance at the 3Music Awards Women’s brunch.
Sometimes you wonder if the hard work is even worth it.
